If you haven't heard by now (where have you been ? ,lol ) since the former Miss USA 2012 Olivia Culpo was crowned Miss Universe 2013 (yay !) her first runner up Nana Meriwether has officially taken her spot at Miss USA ! Nana Meriwether was Miss Maryland USA 2012 and first runner up at Miss USA 2012 ! Olivia being crowned was a double win for USA . I love Nana Meriwether and so glad to see a beautiful intelligent women live her dream out at Miss USA. Nana competed several times before winning her state title and is now Miss USA . It just shows if you want something bad enough and work hard anything is possible. As someone who is a Miss USA hopeful this is great to see. She will be a great role model and I am excited to see what the rest of her reign has in store for her .
